With the official invitation from the IPA FLOODS consortium, the European mechanism for civil protection, AME is participating in the operational training "High Capacity Pumps" from 23.04.2017 to 26.04.2017 in Deggendorf, Germany. In this training are participating 10 members from AME regarding the use and management of high capacity pumps, and at the end of this training the Republic of Kosovo will be donated these devices, while participants in this training are also teams of countries of the Western Balkans and Turkey.
Theoretical training is being held at the premises of the Federal Police Center in Deggendorf, Bavaria, by the international instructor of this Consortium, while the practical part of this training is taking place on the banks of the Danube River.
It is worth mentioning that in addition to this team that is participating in this training, from 26-29.04.2017 will also participate a team from AME, as well as 10 participants in the training "Building barriers", and the purpose of this Operational training is capacity building for responding to emergencies, ie floods in our country and supporting countries in the region in case of emergencies
